Were is that Dave, Epping RSL?

Dave A 5:18 Fri Jun 24
Re: RobbieSlater
I see him all the time up at our local RSL club having a few beers and he always comes across as a genuine, good bloke. Always talks to my boys when they've got their Hammers gear on and remembers them and says hi. If he was just an ex-pro, I would think he's an alright guy, but as he's an ex-Hammer, he's a top bloke in my book.

Re: ROBBIE Slater
Yes he says look at the start of every sentence, but isn't as bad as Bosnich.

but to favour a club you only liked from the other side of the world cause they won everything over one you have an actual connection with and played for..

Could understand if he was a scouser..so no he's a cunt

Re: ROBBIE Slater
It's not like he was a one club player.

I'm more concerned at how shit he is as a pundit, frasier.

That is to say, VERY shit.

Re: ROBBIE Slater
Yes Ronald, but our ex player wanting us to lose to a team he never played for because he was a glory hunting cunt.

Sven Roeder 12:22 Fri Jun 24
Re: ROBBIE Slater
He is of an age where Liverpool were the glory hunting shallows persons team of choice.
10 years younger and he'd be Man Utd.

I saw we gave Blackburn £600,000 and Matty Holmes for him. That is a seriously shit transaction as Matty Holmes was a much better player.
Made worse because we sold him to Southampton a year later for £250,000.
Good old Harry and his wheeler dealing.

Ronald_antly 12:16 Fri Jun 24
Re: ROBBIE Slater
So he would always want Liverpool to beat whoever they're playing, then?

fraser 12:14 Fri Jun 24
Re: ROBBIE Slater
Always wants Liverpool to beat us, just like most Aussies is a bin dipper

I was at that game. It was a long, miserable and quiet journey home.

Lives near me here in Sydney, see him the odd time at the local shopping center with his kids etc, Mrs looks a decent sort! Works as a commentator and pundit .

I saw that game at ewood park - shearer hat trick??? Think it snowed too. We were shit.

Yes Shearer hat trick , he was superb that day.

Re: ROBBIE Slater
He has a Premier League winners medal from his time at Blackburn.

Sven Roeder 11:14 Thu Jun 23
Re: ROBBIE Slater
His last game was the 2-1 home win over Southampton that people will remember as the PAULO FUTRE game.
We sold him to Southampton the next month.

Last I heard he was doing the Fox tv Premier League coverage in Australia with Mark Bosnich.

Re: ROBBIE Slater
Forest weren't it?

Alex Bunbury 10:52 Thu Jun 23
Re: ROBBIE Slater
Not all that from my memory. I think he got a couple of goals, one of which was a winner in a one nil win. Somebody will remember the details. He seemed to disappear after he left us.

Re: ROBBIE Slater
Redknapp played him and Lazaridis on the wrong wings and neither flourished.

Tomshardware 10:45 Thu Jun 23
Re: ROBBIE Slater
Saw him score a cracking goal at Ewood Park, we lost 4-2.
